This won't make headlines, but it's news here. Nick and I have officially been non-smokers for more than 24 hours. This time, it hasn't been as bad as we thought it would be. I really think we're going to do it this time and, surprisingly, I feel good about it. I'm a little scared, mostly of failure, but for the most part, I'm happy with the decision. I'm sure my mother will be thrilled when I hug her in 31 days (yep, I'm going back East for a few days) and I don't reek of smoke.
