Can't Buy Me Love

Who would have thought Joe Millionaire could restore my faith in human nature? Maybe that's going a bit too far, but it did make me feel good. First, let me say I only watched the last 3 episodes because I thought it would be a dumb show. I started watching because of all the stuff about Sarah and the fetish films. But, even coming into it as late as I did, I could tell she was only in it for the money. I was surprised that Evan, aka Joe, saw that. "She was into to Joe Millionaire, not Evan Marriott," he said. Then there's Zora. I was happily surprised when she said she wanted to "continue the journey." With that said, I'll admit I kind of wanted it to go the other way. I read at mikey's that if the girl "Joe" chose decided to stay with him, she got a million bucks. But if she decided not to say, Fox would tell her "Sorry, if you stayed you could have had a million dollars." I really did want to see Sarah's face #1 when Evan told her he wasn't a millionaire and #2 when Fox told her she could have had a million if she stayed with him. Oh well.

I do think Fox was really cheap in giving them a million dollars to share, though. Couldn't they have sprung for a million each?
